APBP Board Proposal
I presented a proposal to five APBP Board members and six more committee members at the October 2021 Board Meeting, moving to digitize a remote work sign-out sheet into a Google Form. I used the document below to supplement my verbal presentation. I even took the initiative to anticipate questions board members may have. You can read about the outcome of my proposal here.

First, I briefly introduced the agenda items I would be covering and my overall proposal. Then, I reviewed the current remote work sign-out system. I recognized that many board members work remotely and had not seen the physical sign-out sheet, so I showed one of the pages using the "Share Screen" feature on Zoom. I highlighted the issues with the current system to persuade board members to approve my proposal.

Second, I moved on to my proposed changes. I outlined the ways that the Google Form would improve organizational communication. I also assiduously considered questions my proposal may raise.

Third, I openly accepted constructive criticism from board members about necessary revisions to the Google Form. I implemented the requested changes and provided the updated form the next day.
